Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business administration, nursing, public health or related field required.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• 2-3 years of progressively responsible experience in healthcare operations, hospital administration, clinical operations, or a related healthcare environment required.
• Experience supporting inpatient hospital operations required, preferably within oncology or complex acute-care settings.
• Experience leading cross-functional projects and coordinating priorities without direct reporting authority.
• Experience with quality improvement, regulatory readiness, operational metrics, and performance management in a healthcare setting.
• Experience with budget management, data analysis, and development of operational reports and presentations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day inpatient operations across multiple sites medical oncology floors, providing on-site operational support to clinicians and ensuring efficient, coordinated unit-level operations across locations.
• Support clinical team readiness and unit operations by ensuring workrooms and inpatient units are stocked, coordinating equipment, and addressing operational issues.
• Lead environment of care and regulatory readiness activities, including Joint Commission readiness and corrective actions.
• Coordinate facilities and operational service requests, including submitting, tracking, and following up on work orders to minimize disruption.
• Partner with central teams and local clinical leadership on operational improvement initiatives focused on length of stay, workflow, service delivery, and patient/provider experience.
• Support financial and performance management for inpatient operations, including budget reviews and translating data into improvements.
• Provide project management and administrative support for strategic inpatient initiatives, including transitioning licensed beds and maintaining service-line agreements.
