Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's in Athletic Training.
- Alternative: PTA with licensure, or BA in Exercise Science/Kinesiology/Allied Health, or 2 years military healthcare experience.
- License or certification as appropriate.
- Basic Life Support and AED Certification.
- BOC certification or eligible.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement Injury Prevention programs for on-site employees.
- Assess body mechanics and create mitigation plans.
- Document treatments and coach for continuous improvement.
- Understand OSHA recordkeeping rules (29 CFR 1904.7).
- Address discomfort through education and job-specific coaching.
- Assist with medical surveillance testing and clinic operations.
- Provide health education and training to optimize population health.
