Job summary
ATI Worksite Solutions in Detroit, MI is seeking an Injury Prevention Specialist/Athletic Trainer (PRN) to assess employee health, design individualized improvement plans, and lead on-site injury prevention initiatives.
The role requires a degree in athletic training, BLS/AED certification, and the ability to coach and educate employees, with emphasis on body mechanics and safety. Competitive salary and growth opportunities are offered.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Athletic Training is required or equivalent.
- Associate degree in PTA with licensure or Bachelor's in Exercise Science/AT/Kinesiology/Allied Health; or 2 years Military healthcare experience.
- License or certification as appropriate; BOC certification preferred.
- Basic Life Support and AED certification required.
Responsibilities
- Interface with office and industrial clients to assess health status and create individualized improvement plans.
- Assess body mechanics through observation and develop risk-mitigation plans; document treatments.
- Follow OSHA rules related to first aid (29 CFR 1904.7) and keep records.
- Provide education and coaching to reduce injury contributions and improve wellness.
- Assist with medical surveillance testing and clinic operations.
- Develop and deliver employee health education and training on wellness topics.
