Job summary

Sharpsville Container Corporation seeks an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair plant machinery, conveyors, and electrical systems. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose failures, read schematics, and ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently.

This on-site role requires five years of industrial maintenance experience, ability to work independently, strong problem solving, and a commitment to safe work practices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum five years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical maintenance.
• Ability to read schematics, drawings, and manuals.
• Proficient with diagnostic tools for electrical and mechanical systems.
• Commitment to safe work practices and problem solving.
• Ability to commute to Sharpsville, PA.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems including motors, drives, relays, control panels, PLCs, and wiring.
• Perform mechanical maintenance on conveyors, gearboxes, pumps, bearings, drives, and other production machinery.
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical problems promptly to minimize downtime.
• Read electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, blueprints, and technical manuals.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance, inspections, adjustments, and servicing.
• Use diagnostic tools to identify equipment failures and verify repairs.
• Support installation, alignment, and commissioning of new or relocated machinery and equipment.
• Follow lockout tagout procedures and safety requirements.
• Document maintenance work, inspections, repairs, parts usage, and equipment conditions.
• Work with production to identify recurring issues and implement fixes.
• Maintain an orderly work area and store tools/parts properly.
• Perform other maintenance and facility duties as assigned.
