Job summary

Bloom Energy is seeking an Industrial Electrical Technician in Newark, DE, reporting to Equipment Maintenance Supervisor. This on-site role focuses on routine inspections, troubleshooting, and maintaining electrical and control systems for manufacturing equipment.

Required 5–8 years in manufacturing electrical/electronic tech, experience with PLCs, sensors, hydraulics, and robotics, plus strong English communication and teamwork skills. Competitive benefits and on-site facilities provided.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of electrical or electronic technician experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in maintenance, equipment and industrial repair.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical and control systems.
• Familiarity with electrical circuits, motor controls, and industrial automation.
• Basic understanding of PLC’s, low voltage controls, three phase power distribution, vision systems.
• Electronic sensors, pneumatics, hydraulics and robotics.
• Knowledge of MS Office suite.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Competency in written and verbal English communications to understand safety protocols and SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine Inspections and preventative maintenance on equipment and machinery.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical systems associated with the manufacturing process.
• Support the installation, calibration, and maintenance of sensors, actuators, and motor controls.
• Analyze electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications.
• Assist in assembly, testing, and troubleshooting electrical systems, PLC’s and control panels for manufacturing equipment.
• Assist in documentation, including wiring diagrams, test reports, and standard operating procedures.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards in all electrical and automation tasks.
• Assist in test system startup procedures.
• Make recommendations for electrical layout improvements.
• Develop BOM’s and spare parts lists for critical systems and equipment.
