Job summary

Bloom Energy in Newark, DE seeks an Industrial Electrical Technician for a fully on-site role reporting to the Equipment Maintenance Supervisor. You will inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical and mechanical systems in a high‑volume manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities include supporting sensor and motor control maintenance, wiring diagrams, PLCs, documentation, and ensuring safety standards. Strong English communication and team collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of electrical or electronic technician experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in maintenance, equipment and industrial repair.
• Knowledge of electrical circuits, motor controls, and industrial automation.
• Familiarity with PLCs, low voltage controls, three phase power distribution, vision systems.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Written and verbal English communications for safety protocols and SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on equipment and machinery.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical systems associated with the manufacturing process.
• Support installation, calibration, and maintenance of sensors, actuators, and motor controls.
• Analyze electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications.
• Assist in assembly, testing, and troubleshooting electrical systems, PLCs and control panels for manufacturing equipment.
• Assist in documentation, including wiring diagrams, test reports, and SOPs.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards in all electrical and automation tasks.
• Assist in test system startup procedures.
• Make recommendations for electrical layout improvements.
• Develop BOMs and spare parts lists for critical systems and equipment.
