3M is offering an Undergraduate Design Intern position to kick off Summer 2027, based at the Maplewood, MN campus. You will work with 3M Design and SIBG teams, applying human-centered design practices to real-world challenges across physical products, packaging, and digital experiences.

You will build foundational design skills, gain exposure to global projects, and collaborate with engineers, marketers, product managers, and other partners while being mentored and onboarded to create usable,

Formación

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design or higher.
• Experience with 3D CAD software is required.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate with 3M Design and cross-functional partners.
• Develop concepts, CAD models, renderings, and prototypes for evaluation.
• Support design research, prototyping, and design reviews.
• Communicate design concepts clearly through visuals and documentation.
• Contribute to brand design, packaging, and UX/UI design as needed.
