Job summary

Paylocity is seeking an Implementation Consultant I for a 100% in-office role at multiple U.S. locations, including Meridian, ID. You will lead client onboarding, design configurations, and ensure accurate data migration into HCM software.

You’ll work with clients to define requirements, validate configurations, and provide proactive support throughout the implementation lifecycle. Strong analytical thinking and customer focus are essential.

Qualifications

• Requires 1+ year in a customer-facing role.
• Bachelor’s is strongly preferred; alternative with degree + experience or 5+ years in HCM may be considered.
• Strong communication skills with a customer-focused mindset throughout implementation.

Responsibilities

• Act as trusted advisor to clients during implementation.
• Facilitate meetings and maintain ongoing communication through the project lifecycle.
• Provide smooth post-implementation support, system maintenance, and issue resolution.
• Assist with data migration, mapping, and validation for accurate data integration into HCM software.
• Collaborate with clients to gather business requirements for payroll, HR, time and labor modules.
• Review configurations with clients to ensure alignment with needs and optimal system use.
• Coordinate with sales, product SMEs, and project managers to deliver high-quality implementations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve implementation issues, escalating as needed.
