Job summary

RHA Health Services, LLC is seeking an on-site Facility Nurse (RN) in New Bern, NC, to provide holistic nursing care for individuals with IDD and related health needs. The role involves monitoring health status, coordinating with the interdisciplinary team, and delivering medication administration training to staff.

The ideal candidate holds an accredited RN license, may have a BSN, and must demonstrate effective communication, independence, and strong organizational skills, including CPR

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited registered nurse program.
• Current nursing license with no restrictions to practice.
• Effective communication with Interdisciplinary Team Members.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
• Current CPR certification or eligibility to obtain certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic nursing care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• Observe, assess, and evaluate health needs of the people we support.
• Provide health-related training to unlicensed personnel.
• Administer medications and treatments or assist with medication administration.
• Advocate for the people supported and assist with developing community supports to promote optimal health.
