Job summary

SpaceXSI is seeking an Instrumentation & Controls Technician to maintain and troubleshoot controls and field instruments at our on-site power generation facility serving AI supercomputing operations in the Memphis area. This is a full-time, on-site role with flexible shifts, including nights and weekends.

You will calibrate instruments, troubleshoot gas turbine and generator controls, and ensure 24/7 I&C coverage while following safety procedures. Some travel to SpaceXSI sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years hands-on instrumentation and controls maintenance in a power plant or similar high-reliability facility.

Responsibilities

• Calibrate, test, troubleshoot, and repair field instruments and final elements.
• Troubleshoot turbine, generator, and balance-of-plant control systems across manufacturers.
• Identify and fix trips, alarms, and bad readings; return equipment to service.
• Run loop checks and functional tests during start-up, shutdown, commissioning, and outages.
• Read and interpret P&IDs, loop sheets, wiring diagrams, and control logic.
• Document calibrations and work-order closeout in CMMS.
• Continue to improve failures by addressing root causes.
