Job summary

Vinmar International in Haynesville, LA is seeking a Field Technician to operate and monitor Dry Powder Mixing Equipment on a hydraulic fracturing jobsite.

You will rig up equipment, perform maintenance, troubleshoot issues on site under supervision, coordinate chemical deliveries, and document usage in the company software.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, basic electrical knowledge, strong communication skills, and a commitment to safety in varying weather conditions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Hydraulic fracturing experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Move in and rig up equipment (Hoses, valves, fittings, e-cable).
• Perform periodic maintenance and checks throughout the duration of the job.
• Troubleshoot and repair issues on site under supervision of Field Supervisor/Operations Manager.
• Coordinate the delivery of chemicals with Logistics to maintain inventory on location.
• Offload the chemical by pump off or pneumatically to receptacles on location.
• Document usage and inventory in the company software.
• Rig down when the job is completed and move equipment to maintenance location.
• Maintain equipment cleanliness and perform PM activities on pumps and motors.
• Attend Safety Skills module weekly and monthly Safety Meeting.
• Speak intelligently about equipment and operations; communicate effectively.
