Job summary

Vinmar International is seeking a Field Technician to operate and monitor Dry Powder Mixing Equipment on a hydraulic fracturing jobsite in Louisiana. The role involves rigging up equipment, coordinating chemical deliveries, and maintaining accurate inventory through company software.

The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma or GED and strong mechanical/electrical troubleshooting skills, with safety compliance as a priority.

Qualifications

Education: High School Diploma or GED.
Hydraulic fracturing experience is a plus.
Ability to monitor and operate hydraulic fracturing equipment.

Responsibilities

Move in and rig up equipment (hoses, valves, fittings, e-cable).
Perform periodic maintenance and checks throughout the duration of the job.
Troubleshoot and repair issues under guidance of Field Supervisor/Field Operations Manager.
Coordinate delivery of chemicals with Logistics Team to maintain inventory on location.
Offload the chemical by pump off or pneumatically to the chemical receptacles on location.
Document usage and inventory on company software.
Rig down when the job is completed and move equipment to maintenance location.
Maintain equipment cleanliness and perform PM on pumps and motors.
Complete weekly Safety Skills module and attend monthly Safety Meeting.
