Job summary

Hitachi Energy is seeking a Project Manager for its Service Business in Mt. Pleasant, PA. You will own high voltage service orders from start to finish, coordinating schedules, maintaining documentation, and serving as the main customer contact to keep projects on track.

The role requires on-site presence at the Mt. Pleasant facility and involves collaboration with commercial operations and field teams, backlog oversight, and data analysis using Excel and Power BI.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in project order management, customer support, or project management.
• Strong customer focus and relationship-building.
• Excellent organization and communication skills.
• Experience with SAP for order management and Excel for data analysis.
• SAP S/4HANA knowledge is a plus.
• Willing to travel occasionally.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate project activities to ensure timely delivery of high voltage service orders.
• Collaborate with commercial operations and field teams to align project details and schedules.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and update milestones in enterprise systems.
• Serve as the main point of contact for customers, providing updates and resolving inquiries.
• Oversee backlog management, ensuring accurate planning and reporting of delivery and revenue.
• Support administrative tasks for project orders and turnkey projects.
• Share lessons learned to drive continuous improvement in project execution.
• Analyze project data and report on progress using Excel and Power BI.
• Ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
