Job summary

Hitachi Energy is seeking a Project Manager for its Service Business in Mt. Pleasant, PA. You will own high voltage service orders from start to finish, coordinating schedules, maintaining documentation, and serving as the main customer contact to keep projects on track.

The role requires on-site presence at the Mt. Pleasant facility and involves collaboration with commercial operations and field teams, backlog oversight, and data analysis using Excel and Power BI.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in project order management, customer support, or project management.
• Strong customer focus and relationship-building.
• Excellent organization and communication skills.
• Experience with SAP for order management and Excel for data analysis.
• SAP S/4HANA knowledge is a plus.
• Willing to travel occasionally.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

• Ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

As a Project Manager with Hitachi Energy's Service Business, you'll take ownership of high voltage service orders from start to finish — booking orders, managing schedules, and keeping customers informed every step of the way. You'll be the central point of contact who keeps projects on track, documentation accurate, and stakeholders aligned. If you're someone who thrives on organization, clear communication, and seeing projects through to successful delivery, this role gives you the structure and scope to do exactly that.

This role is based at the Mt. Pleasant, PA facility and requires on-site presence.

Your Background

• High school diploma with 3+ years of experience in project order management, customer support, or project management; OR Bachelor's degree in business or engineering with 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong customer focus and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent organization, time management, and communication abilities.
• Knowledge in SAP for order management and Excel for data analysis.
• Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA is a plus.
• Willingness to travel occasionally as required by project needs.
• Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
