Job summary

Kobelco Aluminum Products and Extrusions in Bowling Green, KY is seeking an HR Benefits & Payroll Administrator to manage biweekly payroll, benefits administration, and HR tasks at our manufacturing facility. This on-site role supports multiple shifts and collaborates with HR, Accounting, and Production.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of payroll/HR operations experience, an associate degree, strong attention to detail, confidentiality, and proficiency with HRIS and payroll software.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in HR, Accounting, Business Administration, or equivalent; experience considered.
• 2+ years payroll/benefits/HR ops experience preferred.
• Manufacturing payroll experience strongly preferred.
• Proficient with HRIS, payroll systems, and MS Office. Paycor a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process biweekly payroll for hourly and salaried employees.
• Review timecards, overtime, shift differentials, attendance, PTO, bonuses, and payroll adjustments.
• Resolve timekeeping and payroll discrepancies with Production Supervisors.
• Administer medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and retirement benefits.
• Coordinate new-hire enrollment, qualifying life events, open enrollment, and benefit terminations.
• Reconcile benefit invoices, payroll deductions, and employee contributions.
• Maintain accurate employee records in HRIS, payroll, and timekeeping systems.
• Process employee status changes, new-hire documentation, and termination records.
• Respond to employee questions about pay, deductions, benefits, and timekeeping.
• Support payroll reporting, year-end activities, audits, and applicable compliance requirements.
