Job summary

Chief Seattle Club is looking for a Support Assistant to join our on-site team in Seattle, WA. You will work with Case Managers and residents to provide wrap-around services at housing sites and help maintain safe, healthy communities.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily operations, coordinating with staff, and supporting residents with trauma-informed approaches. This full-time clerical role requires on-site presence and a strong commitment to Indigenous communities.

Qualifications

• Proficient with computers and teaching others to use them.
• Ability to handle complaints calmly and professionally.
• Experience working with homeless or low-income populations preferred.
• Strong understanding of historical and intergenerational trauma among Indigenous communities.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate safe and healthy community every day by getting to know resident members.
• Monitor safety of building and respond to hazards.
• Maintain daily resident logs and supervise activities at the site.
• Assist with office support services and daily chores around the office.
