Job summary

HUNGRY is seeking an on-site Hospitality Porter in New York City to manage coffee, water, snack, and inventory services across client locations. You will build relationships, ensure quality, and maintain safety standards while delivering exceptional guest experiences.

The role involves a mix of early-morning shifts, travel between client sites, and collaborative teamwork in a fast-paced environment. Competitive hourly pay and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Previous Hospitality experience and proven track record of success.
• Possess a current food handler card and understand basic food safety principles.
• Meticulous, dependable, organized, forward thinking, initiative-taking, and approachable.
• Careful understanding of products, allergens, and ingredients.
• Ability to educate customers and answer coffee/food related questions.
• Track inventory for snacks, drinks, coffee products.
• Troubleshooting breakdowns, maintaining supplies, assisting with preventive maintenance.
• Maintaining a safe and clean work environment by following organization standards and sanitation regulations.
• Experience in client success, hospitality, or operations, and love building relationships with customers.
• People person who enjoys meeting others and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Coffee Machine Services: Replenish beans, reset waste bins, clean machines.
• Inventory Tasks/storage Room: Store dry/refrigerated items with FIFO, tidy stockroom.
• Water Machine Services: Empty drip tray, keep machines clean.
• Snack & Fruit Services: Restock with labels out, remove expired items, donate excess fruit.
• Expired Products: Return expired items to storage and notify solutions desk.
