Qualifications

• Bachelor's Civil Engineering/Construction Management degree or equivalent combination of technical training and experience.
• 3+ years Project Management/Construction Management experience; diversified Highway/Heavy Civil Construction experience preferred; Design-Build project experience a plus.
• Excellent leadership, organization, communication, and negotiating skills.

Responsibilities

• Support project bidding and procurement activities.
• Plan, administer and supervise Highway/Heavy Civil construction projects.
• Maintain excellent relationships with project partners through constant communication and professional behavior.
• Establish and maintain safe working conditions; implement and enforce safety policies and procedures.
• Coordinate all phases of project construction, ensuring work is performed on time and within budget.
• Negotiate and process extra work claims, change orders, and value engineering concepts.
• Track and monitor subcontractor work and billings.
