Job summary

Rize Federal Credit Union in Irwindale, CA is seeking a Help Desk Specialist to own day-to-day technology support for staff. This on-site role reports to the Director of Infrastructure and Security Operations and serves as the primary IT contact for coworkers.

You will triage and resolve tickets in ServiceNow within SLAs, support Windows 10/11 and Microsoft 365, handle password resets, MFA, account provisioning, and end-user training.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of help desk or IT service desk experience in a business environment.
• Experience handling tickets in ITSM/ticketing systems (ServiceNow preferred).
• Hands-on support for Windows 10/11 and Microsoft 365 users.
• Working knowledge of Active Directory and/or Entra ID administration.
• Basic networking concepts: Wi‑Fi, IP, VPN and cabling.
• Strong customer service skills and calmness under outages.

Responsibilities

• Own the IT service desk queue in ServiceNow; triage, prioritize, and resolve tickets within SLAs.
• Be the first point of contact by phone, Teams, email, walk-up, and ticket.
• Reset passwords, unlock accounts, and assist with MFA setup and resets.
• Create, update, and disable user accounts in Entra ID and Active Directory.
• Complete new-hire onboarding and offboarding checklists with HR.
• Provide first-line support for Outlook, Exchange, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, and mobile devices.
• Image, configure, deploy, and replace laptops/desktops/peripherals using Intune.
• Support printers, phones, video meeting equipment, and conference rooms.
