Job summary

TMS International LLC is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator in Axis, AL to support on-site steel mill operations. You will operate loaders, excavators, and similar machinery, moving and loading materials while following production schedules and safety procedures.

Responsibilities include performing basic equipment inspections, reporting issues promptly, coordinating with team members to minimize downtime, and assisting with site cleanup and maintenance activities as needed to maintain high

Qualifications

• Experience operating loaders, excavators and similar heavy equipment.
• Able to perform basic inspections and report issues.
• Knowledge of industrial safety practices and environmental compliance.
• Ability to follow work instructions and site procedures.
• Willingness to work shifts/overtime and to perform physically demanding tasks.
• Previous heavy equipment operator experience in industrial or construction settings.
• High school diploma or equivalent; licenses are a plus.
