This posting seeks a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our Osceola, AR team and help transport materials and support production. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of heavy equipment experience, reads safety manuals and blueprints, and works in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 2 years operating heavy equipment.
• Ability to read safety manuals and blueprints.
• Strong understanding of safety procedures in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment (forklifts, cranes, bulldozers, excavators) within the steel mill.
• Transport materials such as scrap metal, slag, and steel products to designated areas.
• Ensure machines are maintained and report malfunctions.
• Assist with loading/unloading raw materials into production areas.
• Follow safety guidelines to maintain a safe work environment.
• Monitor and adjust equipment settings for smooth production processes.
• Perform basic maintenance like lubrication and cleaning.
