Wilson Construction Company in Woodburn, OR is seeking a Shop Mechanic to perform comprehensive repair, maintenance, and upfitting of utility equipment and trucks at our Woodburn shop. You will help maintain fleet reliability and safety while collaborating with field crews and management.

The role requires 5+ years in heavy mechanics (2–3 years light/medium duties), a high school diploma, and a valid driver's license; CDL is a plus. On-site work with personal tools is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years heavy mechanic experience in related field.
• 2–3 years of light/medium-duty mechanic experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent; CDL is a plus.
• Proficiency diagnosing and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems; basic fabrication.
• Must work on-site in Woodburn, OR, own tools, and have a valid driver's license; physical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Heavy Duty Repair & Diagnostics on hydraulic systems, engines, electrical systems, brakes, drive train, and aerial equipment.
• Light & Medium Duty maintenance for trucks (Ford/Dodge a plus) focusing on diesel, gas, electrical, and brakes.
• Upfitting and modification projects to prepare company utility vehicles and equipment.
• Observe safety standards; smoke and drug-free environment.
• Collaborate with team; willing to work overtime and some weekends.
