Job summary

Capital Area Health Network (CAHN) seeks a Maintenance Technician to ensure cleanliness, safety, and upkeep of five medical centers in Richmond, VA. The role handles general maintenance, minor repairs, and coordination with external vendors, with an 8:00 AM–5:00 PM on-site schedule.

Ideal candidates have at least two years in building maintenance, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to lift 30–50 lbs. Medical setting experience is a plus, with comprehensive benefits provided by CAHN.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Two years of experience in building maintenance.
• Experience in various trades preferred (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, cement, tile).

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain all facilities inside and out.
• Move and assist in transporting furniture and equipment for meetings and events.
• Repair and treat floors, sinks, walls, doors, and carpets as needed.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness per site checklists.
• Coordinate with vendors and assist contracted service providers.
