Planate Management Group is seeking Construction Managers to support the VA Hospital in Grand Junction, Colorado, ensuring construction compliance and quality on-site. You will coordinate with the client, perform inspections, and guide the construction team through design reviews, constructability input, and procurement activities.

This on-site role requires several years in civil/construction management, preferably within healthcare facilities, with strong English communication and proficiency

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• 3+ years civil/construction management, preferably healthcare facilities.
• Experience with Department of Veterans Affairs is an advantage.
• Knowledge of construction scheduling methods and building trades.
• Strong written and verbal English communication.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsabilités

• Provide leadership and mentorship in completing construction work and inspections.
• Monitor means and methods to ensure safety, quality, and contract compliance.
• Review submittals for compliance and provide approvals or guidance.
• Perform field inspections to verify workmanship and materials.
• Ensure compliance with design, specifications, standards and applicable codes.
• Identify and track deficiencies and coordinate mitigation with the team.
• Review safety and quality programs and ensure health, safety, and environmental compliance.
• Review project plans for constructability and practical execution.
• Provide constructability input and design oversight.
• Visit project sites to assess conditions and develop recommendations.
• Support procurement package development for design and construction.
• Perform other responsibilities as may be appropriate.
