Planate Management Group seeks a Construction Manager to oversee VA Hospital projects in Grand Junction, Colorado. This role requires on-site leadership, coordination with contractors, and ensuring contract compliance and safety.

Ideal candidates have civil/construction management experience in healthcare facilities, with strong English communication and proficiency in MS Office. On-site work and collaboration with Planate and Davenergy will be essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil or equivalent experience related to job duties.
• Three or more years of civil/construction management work experience, preferably in healthcare facilities.
• Knowledgeable in construction scheduling methods and building crafts.
• Excellent English communication, written and spoken.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and mentorship in construction work and inspection of quality.
• Monitor means and methods of the contractor, ensuring safety, quality, and contract compliance.
• Review submittals for compliance and provide guidance to the government.
• Perform field inspections and verify workmanship quality.
• Ensure compliance with design, specs, standards, and codes.
• Identify deficiencies and coordinate with the team to resolve them.
• Support design input, constructability, and procurement activities.
