Job summary

Veolia seeks an Environmental Services Technician to provide hazardous and non-hazardous waste services at client facilities. The role includes supervised or independent project work such as packing, labeling, manifesting, and shipping waste per contract parameters.

You will travel within a 90-minute radius of Raleigh, support clients, ensure DOT/EPA paperwork accuracy, and operate equipment safely to complete projects on time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or related discipline.
• 2–4 years of industry-related work and customer service preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a professional image with clients by answering inquiries and suggesting solutions to existing and potential problems.
• Manage onsite customer's hazardous and non-hazardous waste needs per the contact.
• Comply and enforce all environmental, health, and safety policies and procedures.
• Ensure completion and accuracy of all US DOT/EPA paperwork to expedite disposal of hazardous waste, as required.
• Operate and maintain all equipment in a safe manner to ensure optimum efficiency and effectiveness to complete assigned projects in a timely manner.
• Knowledge and understanding of contract terms and possess the ability to follow through on assignments.
• Ability and willingness to travel to various job-sites within a 90-minute radius of Raleigh
• Other work related duties, as assigned.
