Job summary

Puuohoku Ranch seeks a Hospitality Assistant to support guest-facing operations on-site in Hawaii. You will work with the Hospitality Manager to handle bookings, greet guests, maintain common spaces, assist with housekeeping, foodservice, retail, and grounds tasks, and act as a brand ambassador.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in hospitality, strong communication, and a proactive, service-oriented attitude. Flexibility for evenings, mornings, and weekends is essential; housing is provided.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in hospitality
• Experience with FoH/BoH service norms
• Experience using commercial foodservice and/or housekeeping equipment
• Computer literacy: Google Workspace and Canva, ability to perform independent online research

Responsibilities

• Assist Hospitality Manager with delegated tasks and responsibilities.
• Check in with Hospitality Department staff to identify areas needing extra support (laundry, room flip, supplies, deep cleaning, grounds care).
• Use ResNexus booking software to support reservation and guest management processes.
• Maintain lodge common areas, keep environment clean and welcoming, and communicate maintenance needs.
• Support all aspects of guest experience to ensure high hospitality standards.
• Assist foodservice personnel with meal turnout and cleanup.
• Cover shifts in the ranch store when needed.
