Samsung Biologics RKV is seeking a Site Electrician for on-site maintenance of plant electrical systems in a GMP biopharmaceutical setting. The role includes preventive and predictive inspections, troubleshooting, and coordinating with contractors to ensure continuous operation of critical equipment.

Candidate must have a high school diploma, a Maryland apprenticeship track, and potentially a Journeyman license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma with at least 6 years of related experience.
• Two years in a Maryland Apprenticeship program and ability to test out or obtain Journeyman license within timeframe.
• Experience in GMP biopharmaceutical/pharmaceutical manufacturing.
• Strong GMP, FDA guidelines, and reliability practices for equipment maintenance.
• Familiarity with National Electrical Code interpretation and CMMS documentation.

Responsabilités

• Develop detailed electrical scope of work.
• Perform electrical installations or modifications, risk analysis, and coordinate with outside contractors.
• Manage protection relay calibrations and emergency distribution control system operations.
• Work with 120/208VAC, 277/480VAC, 4160VAC, 13kVAC and <50VDC distributions; complete NFPA 70E and OSHA 30 training.
• Operate safely and reliably in a GMP manufacturing environment.
