Job summary

Golden Helix in Bozeman, Montana seeks an on-site Information Technology Network and Systems Specialist to own local and cloud IT infrastructure, ensuring efficiency and security across the company.

You will develop customized integrations and bioinformatics pipelines on Linux, support deployments for enterprise customers, and collaborate across teams to keep systems reliable.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in a technical field or equivalent experience.
• Experience as a Systems Engineer in multi-discipline project teams.
• Excellent communication and cross-department collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage security and reliability of internal IT infrastructure.
• Improve internal network and security infrastructure as the team grows.
• Set up internal systems and network infrastructure with a mix of physical and virtual servers, on-premise and cloud-based, Windows and Linux.
• Provide support and IT assistance with deployment of our products for enterprise customers.
• Investigate IT related customer problems referred by Field Application Scientists.
• Other duties as directed.
