Job summary

Calculated Hire is seeking a General Accounting Analyst for a 6-month on-site contract in Chesterfield, MO or Birmingham, AL. You will research and resolve reconciling items, analyze data, and collaborate across teams to ensure accurate financial reporting.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with 2+ years of accounting/finance experience, strong Excel skills, and familiarity with SAP. CPA is a plus and extension opportunities may exist.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting with 2+ years of accounting/financial analysis experience.
• Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Advanced Excel skills and ability to analyze large datasets.
• Experience with SAP is preferred and CPA-designation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Research and resolve outstanding reconciling items impacting balance sheet accounts.
• Investigate accounting discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
• Analyze financial data and supporting documentation for trends and improvements.
• Collaborate with multiple teams to obtain information and drive issue resolution.
• Track remediation efforts and maintain documentation for audits.
