Job summary

Briggs Industrial Solutions, Inc. is hiring a Forklift Technician to diagnose, repair, and rebuild material handling equipment at customer locations and in our shop.

You will troubleshoot engines, motors, hydraulics, electrical and lifting systems and keep equipment safe and reliable. You’ll have 3+ years of forklift repair or related industry experience, a high school diploma or GED, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 3+ years forklift repair or related industry experience preferred.
• Mechanical or trade school training preferred; strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience using precision instruments (micrometers, dial indicators, bore gauges).

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and rebuild equipment at customer sites or in the shop.
• Troubleshoot engines, motors, hydraulics, brakes, steering, electrical and lifting systems.
• Maintain safe, reliable equipment and accurate service records.
• Manage parts, supplies, and company vehicle; provide professional service at customer sites.
