Job summary

Toyota Lift Northwest is seeking an Experienced Forklift Field Technician in Redmond, OR. You will service customer sites, perform PM and field repairs, and help grow service contracts while upholding safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities include documenting work orders, coordinating with dispatch, and upselling maintenance agreements. You must have strong communication skills and the ability to work independently as part of a capable service team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• 4+ years of professional mechanical experience or demonstrated capability.
• Field techs are usually journey level with 4+ years of experience or equivalent.
• Strong communication skills, written and oral.
• Ability to work independently and lead small teams.
• Experience in customer service and material handling environment.
• Ability to operate reach-truck, stock-picker, pallet jack; forklift certification.
• Maintain a good attendance record.

Responsibilities

• Perform PM services at designated customer locations.
• Visually check customer lifts and verify PM documentation.
• Perform field repairs at customer sites.
• Upsell during repairs and Preventative Maintenance agreements.
• Coordinate with Dispatcher and document work orders.
• Review work in process and close out open orders.
• Complete safety inspections monthly for vehicles and tools.
• Maintain safe work area with cones and PPE as needed.
• Communicate safety concerns to supervisor.
• Assist on various projects as needed.
