Job summary

Toyota Lift NW is seeking a Road Mechanic to perform PM services and field repairs at customer sites, representing TLNW professionally and prioritizing safety.

You will upsell maintenance contracts, document work orders, and communicate with dispatchers and customers daily. A High School Diploma and mechanical experience or technical training are required, with forklift operations and safety compliance emphasized.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• 2+ years breakdown or field service experience.
• Mechanical ability to repair equipment.
• Strong communication skills, written and oral.
• Ability to work independently and lead a small team.
• Ability to communicate clearly with employees, vendors and customers.
• Prior experience in customer service and material handling environment.
• Ability to operate reach-truck, stock-picker, pallet jack, and pass forklift certification.
• Must maintain good attendance.

Responsibilities

• Perform PM services at customer locations.
• Visually inspect customer lifts and verify PM registrations.
• Perform field repairs at customer sites.
• Upsell during repairs and Preventive Maintenance agreements.
• Coordinate with Dispatcher daily and document all work orders.
• Review, complete and close all open work orders promptly.
• Complete safety inspection forms monthly for vehicle and tool maintenance.
• Follow safety protocols: PPE, cones, and site isolation.
• Assist on various projects as needed and report safety concerns.
