Job summary

Johnson Controls in Lake Oswego, OR, is seeking a Route Service Technician specialized in fire suppression to maintain and grow a base of customers. You will inspect, service, repair and install multiple suppression product lines on-site, meeting safety codes and manufacturer specs while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications include 1+ year Kitchen Hood experience, a HS diploma, a valid driver's license, and strong mechanical aptitude. Occasional overnight travel may be required.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of Kitchen Hood experience.
• Completion of High School diploma or equivalency.
• A valid motor vehicle license is required.
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and basic computer knowledge.
• Ability to transport equipment and tools weighing up to 40 lbs.
• Available for occasional overnight travel.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and grow a route servicing existing suppression product lines.
• Inspect, service, repair and install multiple suppression lines on-site.
• Make recommendations based on codes, quote and upsell services.
• Meet or exceed quotas and call on potential customers.
