Job summary

Herc Rentals Inc in Memphis, TN is seeking a Field Service Technician - Pumps & Generators. You will perform preventative maintenance on Herc fleet at customer job sites, diagnose and repair heavy equipment, and ensure safe, reliable operation of pumps, generators and related systems.

This on-site role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, valid driver's license, on-call availability, and the ability to read schematics and manuals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; ability to read manuals and schematics.
• Valid driver's license and on-call availability.
• Experience with heavy equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on Herc fleet at customer job sites.
• Diagnose and repair heavy equipment to ensure uptime.
• Replace parts, service hoses and batteries; troubleshoot fuel and electrical systems.
• Educate customers on proper use of equipment to prevent breakdowns.
• Document service reports and repair logs; follow company procedures.
