Job summary

Yancey Bros. Co. is seeking a Preventative Maintenance Field Service Technician for the second shift to perform preventive maintenance on customer rental machines at job sites in Georgia. The role requires a strong mechanical background, the ability to work independently, and a valid Georgia driver license (CDL preferred).

Daily on-site travel, safety adherence, and completing service work orders are essential. Flexible schedule including some nights and weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• Must have a mechanical background with 2 to 3 years of experience with heavy equipment, automotive, or on highway trucks.
• Basic computer skills.
• Can work independently with little to no supervision.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, to include some nights and occasional weekends.
• Candidates missing one requirement will still be considered.
• Must have a valid Georgia driver license, prefer Class B - CDL.

Responsibilities

• Drive to customer’s job site daily to complete preventive maintenance.
• Operate heavy equipment to determine deficiency’s or performance issues daily.
• Perform all necessary preventive maintenance work for each specific interval service.
• Complete all work orders, time sheets & inspections from completed services.
• Operate service truck safely and comply with all regulations.
• Must be able to obtain a CDL license if required.
• Additional duties as assigned by manager.
