Job summary

Cavco Industries in Phoenix seeks a Production Service Technician to install, repair and maintain Cavco products on site, applying electronics, electrical circuits and appliance knowledge to meet warranties and customer commitments.

You may work independently or under supervision, reviewing work orders and testing components, while performing preventative maintenance and addressing issues. Travel may be required; a valid driver’s license is essential.

Qualifications

• High school graduate with some college.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience.
• Able to anticipate and solve practical problems.
• Proven customer service history.
• Effective written and verbal communication.
• Valid state driver's license with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Install and repair Cavco products on site and perform scheduled maintenance.
• Review work orders, manuals, and schematics to plan tasks and parts.
• Verify electrical installations meet specifications with customers' representative.
• Test components and replace faulty parts using hand tools.
• Provide preventative maintenance per guidelines and ensure product specifications are met.
• May train customers in equipment operation.
• May repair printed circuit boards and perform on-call emergency repairs.
• Travel as required.
