Job summary

Hitachi Global Air Power US, LLC is seeking a Field Service Technician in the Salt Lake City area to provide maintenance and technical support for Sullair products at customer sites. You will diagnose, install, and repair rotary products, travel to field locations, and generate detailed service reports to document visits and actions taken.

The role requires experience with air compressor systems, strong communication, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Qualifications

2-3 years of air compressor commissioning and maintenance experience.
Experience with rotary screw oil-free compressors is a plus.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to engage with all organizational levels and communicate clearly.
Proficient with Microsoft Office and reading schematics.

Responsibilities

Perform service on Sullair rotary products at customer sites without supervision.
Travel to field sites for troubleshooting and service of Sullair products.
Submit service reports and logs; document actions taken.
Follow safety policies and quality standards.
Communicate field feedback to management; drive issues to closure.
Support training for customers, distributors, and employees.
