Job summary

Johnson Controls in Horsham, PA is seeking an on-site project leader to plan, coordinate, implement, and complete security system projects for assigned customers. You will blend technical execution, field leadership, and financial accountability across hardware design, programming, installation, commissioning, and closeout.

Qualifications

• High School or Technical degree required.
• 2+ years field project management with knowledge of project accounting, costing principles, and contracting.
• 3+ years of Access Control, Fire, Video, and/or systems design/commissioning experience.
• Ability to work independently and in a field-facing environment.
• Strong communication across customers, subcontractors, and internal teams.
• Ability to manage documentation, financial details, and multiple workstreams with accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from kickoff through closeout as the on-site contact for customers and teams.
• Coordinate hardware design, system programming, installation, commissioning, and closeout.
• Manage project costs, billings, collections, and change orders.
• Communicate with customers throughout all phases and address issues as they arise.
• Direct subcontractors, electrical installers, technicians, designers, and admin support as needed.
• Oversee warranty, documentation, and site training for owners/operators.
• Ensure work meets Johnson Controls standards and applicable regulations.
• Maintain productive relationships with contractors, clients, consultants, and subcontractors; support progress meetings and reporting.
