Job summary

Dashiell is seeking a Field Safety Lead to provide day-to-day safety leadership across active project sites in Ohio. This fully field-based role observes operations, coaches crews, and enforces safety standards while reporting to the Safety Manager.

The position is field-based with frequent site presence and will require coordinating coverage, conducting audits, and leading incident investigations to prevent reoccurrence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety or related field preferred.
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification required.
• Current First Aid/CPR/AED certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days).
• Minimum of 7 years of construction, craft, or safety experience in construction or industrial environments.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary field point of contact for Field Safety Representatives across project sites.
• Coordinate field safety coverage and resource deployment in collaboration with the Safety Manager.
• Lead on-site safety audits, investigations, and development of corrective actions.
• Provide coaching and mentoring to Field Safety Representatives and field personnel on safety initiatives.
