Job summary

Dashiell is seeking a Field Safety Representative to lead on-site safety, ensure OSHA and client compliance, and foster a strong safety culture across field operations.

You will conduct training, perform audits, document incidents, and travel to project sites as required. The role emphasizes proactive safety leadership, rigorous documentation, and collaboration with clients and teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree in occupational health & safety may be considered in lieu of some work experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of construction, craft or safety experience.
• Completion of OSHA 30-Hour Construction course (required); OSHA 500 or equivalent advanced safety credential preferred.
• Current first aid/CPR/AED certification (or ability to obtain).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement pre-job safety execution plans and Job Safety Task Analyses (JSTA).
• Perform routine jobsite safety audits, inspections, and safety consultations addressing compliance and safety issues.
• Ensure inspection, testing, and proper documentation of safety equipment.
• Conduct and document incident investigations, including root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Prepare reports and maintain records related to safety investigations and audits.
