Job summary

Dashiell Corporation is seeking a Field Safety Lead to provide day-to-day safety leadership at active construction sites in the West Texas region, initially base-based and project-oriented. You will mentor Field Safety Representatives, ensure adherence to safety standards, and escalate issues to the Safety Manager.

The role requires regular field presence, strong OSHA knowledge, incident investigations, and the ability to coordinate safety programs and training for teams across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 7 years of construction, craft, or safety experience in construction or industrial environments.
• Minimum 3 years in a dedicated field safety role.
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification required.
• Current First Aid/CPR/AED certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days).
• Experience conducting incident investigations and root cause analysis.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary field safety point of contact for guidance and support on safety execution across project sites.
• Coordinate field safety coverage, scheduling, and resource deployment with the Safety Manager.
• Monitor and ensure consistent application of safety standards and documentation.
• Escalate safety concerns to the Safety Manager in a timely manner.
• Lead on-site incident investigations and coordinate corrective actions.
