Job summary

Konecranes is hiring a Project Manager to oversee district service scopes for large projects, ensuring delivery, safety, and financial performance. You will lead kickoff meetings, coordinate sub-contractor activities, manage budgets, and liaise with internal teams to ensure milestones are met.

The role requires 3–5 years in PM, a technical background in electrical/mechanical field installations, and proficiency with MS Project, Excel, and Word. 50% travel may be involved; Great benefits included.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management or General Business Administration.
• 3–5 years of project management experience.
• Technical expertise for electrical, mechanical, and field installations in the overhead crane sector.

Responsibilities

• Present kickoff meetings with field sales, branch personnel, and engineers.
• Facilitate on-site client and sub-contractor meetings and draft milestone schedules.
• Manage production processes, select vendors, and maintain product standards.
• Develop installation packages and communicate processes for timely delivery within margin.
• Increase project effectiveness and efficiency through strong communication and organizational skills to satisfy customers and meet financial goals.
• Interface with Modernization Group, sub-contract resources, suppliers, and in-house experts for quality order delivery.
• Maintain project plans and ensure records are accurate.
• Develop bill of materials from order for exact deliverables.
• Verify drawings, dimensions, and safety requirements.
• Use MS Project or similar to create timelines and responsibilities shared with customers.
