Job summary

Amazon is seeking Operations Engineering Field Execution Interns for Spring 2027 through Summer 2027, located on-site at fulfillment centers across the United States. Interns will work 20 hours per week during Spring 2027 and transition to a 40-hour, 12-week full-time schedule in Summer 2027 with travel to centers under construction.

Roles involve supporting automation, material handling, and system commissioning, with collaboration across internal teams and external vendors.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program with completion anticipated between Dec 2027 and Aug 2028.
• Willing to travel up to 80% to other fulfillment centers in the U.S. during summer months.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Drive resolution for an intern project by owning and deep diving data to support a process improvement recommendation.
• Support management, design, and implementation of medium scope integrated automation projects.
