Zusammenfassung

UL Solutions’ Field Engineering team works on-site with our customers to understand their needs and how they meet the market's needs. The role involves inspections, audits, and verification of UL labels and production records to ensure continued compliance with UL requirements.

The candidate must travel extensively, possess a relevant technical degree with at least 3 years of related experience, and demonstrate strong communication and IT skills.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree or post-secondary technical diploma or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years directly related experience.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English and local language.
• Valid driving license with good driving record.
• Readiness to extensive travel.
• Good communication skills.
• Commitment to customer focus.
• Good IT skills.

Aufgaben

• Perform inspections and audits per Standards and ULS procedures.
• During factory visits, review and select products/components for UL markings.
• Verify components, materials, markings and ULS labels.
• Review production records and documentation.
• Assess previous inspection results and corrective actions.
• Check calibration of test equipment and measurement tools.
• Select samples and witness factory tests when required.
• Create and submit inspection and non-conformance reports.
• Review traceability and inspection programs.
• Schedule inspections and complete tasks, including home-office arrangements.
• Assist customers with questions and promote services.
• Build relationships with local UL office, Customer Service, Invoicing, Sales, Label Center, Customer Advocacy and Engineering.
• Provide on-site value and expand UL’s partnerships.
