Job summary

National OnDemand, Inc. is staffing a long-term fiber optic and structured cabling project inside an AI data center campus in Louisiana.

The Project Manager will lead day-to-day field execution, manage crews, schedules, budget, and coordinate with the GC's program team for the duration of the assignment. The role requires 6+ years of OSP construction experience, strong knowledge of OTDR testing, and adherence to industry standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• Proficiency with CPM scheduling tools (MS Project or equivalent).
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, splice diagrams, and fiber route maps.
• Strong financial acumen: budgeting, cost forecasting, and change order management.

Responsibilities

• Own the full project lifecycle for fiber and structured cabling scope, including initiation, planning, mobilization, execution, testing and turnover.
• Lead deployment of fiber optic and copper cabling for a high-density AI compute environment.
• Serve as on-site point of contact to GC's team, representing scope, schedule and quality commitments.
• Develop and maintain schedule, WBS, governance plan; coordinate org chart and RACI with GC team.
• Maintain master CPM schedule, track milestones, and manage multi-year phasing across campus.
• Coordinate daily with GC's engineering/construction teams and other trades for interface sequencing.
• Manage crews performing cabling placement, splicing and testing; staffing, mobilization, QA.
• Oversee testing and turnover to GC and adherence to standards (TIA/EIA, ISO/IEC).
• Validate design and installation quality; drive QMS practices for crew.
