Job summary

Spatial Front, Inc. in Arlington, VA is seeking an experienced Facility Security Officer to manage all security aspects on-site.

The FSO will ensure compliance with NISPOM and government security regulations, oversee personnel and facility clearances, and coordinate with the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA).

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in security, a U.S. citizenship, and strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 4 years of equivalent professional experience.
• 5+ years of experience as an FSO or in a related security role.
• In-depth knowledge of the NISPOM and government security regulations.
• Experience with DISS and NISS.
• Active Secret security clearance (minimum).
• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for all security-related matters.
• Develop, implement, and maintain security policies and procedures in compliance with government regulations.
• Administer the personnel security clearance process, including initial submissions, periodic reinvestigations, and terminations.
• Manage the company's facility clearance and ensure all safeguarding requirements are met.
• Conduct security education, training, and awareness programs for all employees.
• Investigate and report security incidents and violations.
• Liaise with government agencies, including the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA).
• Maintain all security documentation and records.
• Other duties as assigned.
