Job summary

Howmet Aerospace Inc. in Hampton, VA is seeking a Facilities Electrical Engineer to lead electrical and control projects, support production and maintenance, and ensure reliability and safety of plant facilities.

The role reports to the Facility Engineering Team Leader and involves cross-disciplinary coordination across engineering, manufacturing, and maintenance teams. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, 3–5 years of experience with PLCs, HMI/SCADA, and database

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited institution.
Minimum of 3 - 5 years’ experience working with electrical systems such as power distribution, PLC's, HMI’s, and database systems.

Responsibilities

Manage the electrical and controls scope of process improvement, capital expansion, and obsolescence mitigation projects.
Coordinate all phases of assigned projects from concept to final start‑up and closure.
Assist production and maintenance with equipment/process issues from an engineering perspective to improve reliability and productivity.
