Job summary

Howmet Aerospace Hampton Structural Castings is seeking a Sr. Facilities Project Engineer to lead engineering services for production, maintenance, and admin teams at the Hampton, VA site.

You will design and modify facilities, equipment, and processes to advance productivity and meet business plans. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering and at least 5 years in facilities project engineering within manufacturing, with on-site responsibilities and export-controlled data

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in facilities project engineering within a manufacturing environment.
• Employee must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Visa sponsorship is not available.
• This position entails access to export-controlled items and employment offers are conditioned upon obtaining access.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering services to safely meet the location's business plan.
• Support production, maintenance, and administrative departments to achieve plant goals.
• Design, modify, or develop facilities, testing, machines, equipment, or processes to improve productivity.
• Manage capital and expense projects, develop scopes and budgets, and maintain schedules.
