Bryant & Stratton College in Rochester, NY is seeking a part-time, in-person Testing Proctor to oversee standardized exams and maintain test security. You will enforce rules, manage room conditions, check IDs, and coordinate with the Testing Coordinator to ensure fair testing environments.

The role requires a High School Diploma and proctor certifications; previous proctoring experience at a college or testing center, and conflict-management skills are preferred.

Qualificações

• Proctor certifications as needed.
• Experience proctoring exams in college or testing center preferred.
• Experience handling conflict in public settings preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Check photo IDs and ensure all personal items are removed prior to entering testing space.
• Inspect testing space to ensure unauthorized devices, notes, and phones are removed.
• Clearly inform test takers of exam rules and time limits.
• Walk the room regularly to actively watch for unauthorized communication, or suspicious behavior.
• Report any and all violations to Testing Coordinator immediately without causing unnecessary disruption for other testers.
• Keep track of test start and stop times strictly to make sure no students receive extra time.
• Account for all scrap paper and supplies before allowing testers to leave testing space.
• Write clear, accurate, and detailed incident reports immediately when a rule is broken or a technical issue occurs.
• Ensure testing space, tables, and materials are locked and secured.
• Abide by ADA expectations as assigned for each tester, without impacting test security or rules.
• This is a part time, in person position.
